These figures did vary depending on the training provider, with private training providers recording 54% of subjects as Commonwealth and state funded and 41% as domestic fee for service.For students who enrolled in 2018 over 60% resided in three states, Queensland (24%), Victoria (20%) and New South Wales (17%).Close to a third of training was delivered in Western Australia (32%), followed by Queensland (25%), Victoria (20%) and New South Wales (18%).Apprentices and trainees only make up a small portion of total training within the outdoor recreation sector.
