Is it life changing? But, I love mother-daughter movies, especially when the daughter is a snotty but vulnerable teenager. Tatiana played by Odeya Rush fit her role well with seriously memorable acting and got a few snickers out of us as an audience and the chemistry with her surprising mentor, dictator Anton Vincent played by Michael Cain, a very good choice in my opinion, despite this also being a film genre i would not have expected Alfred from the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy to be a part of. Other than the sycophant Alfred in the Batman movies, Caine has not done anything meaningful since the masterpiece Quills, and that was almost 2 decades ago.

All I'm left wondering is WHO would have financed such garbage? I saw the previews to this and thought it might actually be a cute movie... i was wrong. Was this review helpful? Mature content. When political turmoil forces a British-Caribbean dictator to flee his island nation, he seeks refuge and hides with a rebellious teenage girl in suburban America, and ends up teaching the young teen how to start a revolution and overthrow the "mean girls" at her high school. That having been said, I enjoyed it. A man named Han Feng attempts to stop a gang of arms smugglers in Africa, from getting their hands on a powerful energy ore stone and tries to unveil the mystery behind his wife's disappearance. Xia Dongsheng, a man with deep anxiety which was caused by him witnessing a tragic death of his schoolmate leads a boring life for forty years. The cast is great, especially the two females leads. She has a crush on her Christian friend Denny. Is this poorly scripted effort supposed to be a comedy, a satire, a society commentary, A John Waters tribute? such a poorly scripted and low budget film. Obviously. Was this review helpful?
