It is true Bola has some elements of both mentioned artists but this record has something really unique. "Glink," the opener, is like sunlight filtering through the waves, while "Versivo" plumbs further into the depths, though occasional glimmers still emerge. There are just a few moments around W.I.K-Forcasa 1 which for some reason I find a bit annoying. This music catches the scent of mystery...just like Mr. Namlook same titled track. I'd love to say this is an amazing album, and the majority of it is. It's beautiful in its simplicity, and very emotionally strong.
An album destined to be a classic. When he starts expreimenting more around Pendulus and Amnion things get really interesting; part of the enjoyment is simply to listen to the layers moving over one another.

It sat for almost a week next to my bed, and was always on my "to play" list but I never got round to it. Bola first atracted my attention cause I read somewhere he is a mixture between Boards of Cananda and Autechre. "Glink," the opener, is like sunlight filtering through the waves, while "Versivo" plumbs further into the depths, though occasional glimmers still emerge. The trio of Forcasas each go in a different direction, from the vaporous beauty of "Forcasa 1" to the ambient industrialism of "Forcasa 2" and into the electro-tinged elegance of "Forcasa 3."
I honestly would've paid my 25 bucks and more to get my hands on the first and last tracks.
