“The Tall Ships Races 2021 will see the Tall Ships fleet return to the magnificent and challenging Baltic Sea.“The event starts in Klaipeda, Lithuania, on the 27th June, the fleet will depart Klaipeda on the 30th June to begin preparations for the 250 nautical miles of Race one, heading towards the River Aura in Turku, Finland. The largest event organised by Sail Training International is The Tall Ships Races. Between 26th of June and 3rd of August the fleet will spend 6 weeks to visit Klaipeda, Turku, Tallinn, Mariehamn and Szczecin. The aim of the training regatta is to include and teach young people and draw attention to the condition of the maritime environment and environmental sustainability. We have open positions for a liaison officers, event-assistants and many more.From Tallinn, Race Two will cover a 140 Nautical Mile distance to The final race of the series will take the fleet south through the Baltic Sea to The Tall Ships Races 2021 will visit Klaipeda, Turku, Tallinn, Mariehamn, and Szczecin. It's believed that more than 10 tall ships will take part in The Tall Ships Races 2020 (Rescheduled to 2021). The Tall Ships Races 2021, taking place on June 27 - August 3 will stop over in Klaipeda, Turku, Tallinn, Maarianhamina and Szczecin. The 2021 race series will see the fleet visit five fantastic ports with three race legs and a Cruise-in-Company. During these six weeks, the races will visit Klaipeda, Turku, Tallinn, Mariehamn, and Szczecin…We’re thrilled to be returning to the Baltic Sea to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Tall Ships Races and Regattas. Race One will start in Klaipeda and finish off the coast of Estonia before transiting into the historic port of Turku.Klaipeda can offer one of the best berthing facilities for the Tall Ships fleet. Starting in Klaipeda, Lithuania, on the 27th June, the fleet will race to Turku, Finland. The fleet will then depart Turku on the 8th July for a Cruise-in-Company with vessels visiting ports and inlets along the picturesque Finish Coast to the Estonian port of Tallinn, “From Tallinn, Race Two will cover a 140 Nautical Mile distance to Mariehamn, Åland Islands, a town with a long and proud tradition of sailing in the self governing region of Aland.“The final race of the series will take the fleet south through the Baltic Sea to Szczecin, Poland, a distance of 400 nautical miles.
