The pastas were superb, and the house wine was excellent. Being in Lucca for a month, we went four times and each time tried something different... each dish we would have ordered again! Second day of our trip, found it off the Piazza San Michele, and made our reservations. Must try!Typical and historical traditional restaurant that serves lucchese food. We are both lite eaters so we usually share meals, so we order the rabbit salad and the ravioli with meat sauce. I had the baby goat and my husband and the parents had veal. Food was best we have had in Tuscany so far. Staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious and no more expensive than any other restaurant we visited in Lucca. Will suggest to anyone who is foreign and likes to eat real lucchese cuisine.What an amazing place.
Service was fantastic decent Prosecco upon arrival to excellent grappa at finish. Amazing Michelin restaurant with unique decor! After failed attempts the owners son personally made 2 trips to return us to our hotel. The service is fabulous and the food excellent. I would give this restaurant six stars if I could! The bread was really hard which I find was not uncommon in Italy.Wow! I will returnSimply amazing restaurant. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and the most delectable meatball bites and fried fish. Bulleit Rye Bourbon, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth and Blood Orange Bitters, Garnished with a Luxardo Cherry Cucumber Bramble . Highly recommend!Our parents wanted to come back to Buca since they were there 10 years ago. Service was exemplary and the food was just amazing. All were great.
After a beautiful & delicious meal, my friends & I tried in vain to get an Uber to return to the hotel. Chef came out to check on us - he explained that 2 ladies make the ravioli fresh each morning.
